Trying to copy a disc with DVDFab

The problem that I am having is when I attempt to copy a disc with DVDFab. It always copies as far as 51%, then, it will hang there for hours on end. The copying process stops, and sounds as if it is trying to start again, but never does! The same occurs with the latest version of DVDFab. Also, I have cleaned the disc numerous times, and there are no scratches on it.

How do I get the disc to copy completely?

Do you get the same thing if you try a different ripping tool such as MakeMKV?

is the disc new or used ?? and is it a DVD or BLU-RAY ?

Have not tried MAKE MKV.

The disc is a DVD. It is not new, but there are 5 discs in the set, and only 2 of them will not copy. I have copied countless used discs before.

start dvdfab, click common settings (gear in the upper right hand corner) click dvd - pathplayer - disable pathplayer, restart dvdfab
and retry the disc again.

Unfortunately, your suggestion did not work.
