MPV player not closing previous file while a new file is played

Hi folks, I usually play an mp3 song while another song is playing. The traditional windows media player used to close the previous song automatically. However, my new MPV player is not doing it. It plays multiple songs simultaneously.
Please help me with the setting to play only 1 file at a time.

On Windows, you can use mpv.net which has the single-instance feature. It's not possible with mpv.
