Hello all, Im new here. I read a ton of messages but was wondering a few things. My PC specs should be in my profile if you want too look, but I have a Pioneer 104 DVD-R Drive. Now I recieved Cyberlinks PowerDirector 2.0 Pro, and did the cheap upgrade too the full version. Its a pretty cool program, although its very scarce on any templets and doesnt give you much in the way of edititng and doing what you want too do in menu's n what not, plus it likes too bomb out on me too :(

I tried the demo of DVD Workshop, and seem to be having the same problems many of you are having. The picture will freeze while the audio goes on just fine, choppy ness here n there, and the ever old audio n video sync problems. I only use the high end memorex & Pioneer DVD-R's so those work great. DVD Workshop is very easy to use and I really like it, but because of the mentioned problems, I had to pitch 3 discs which I wasnt really happy about. Have any of you pro's heard of a possible patch from Ulead? I have looked around and havent found anything just yet. My fav about that program is the motion meues, which is what I really want and that seems too be the only program that does it right now (that I know of anywhoo).

Whats the story on the expensive ass DVDit PE? Overall, is it a pretty good program too consider? I have a buddy whos dad programs for Sonic, and I can get a bad ass deal on the PE version and was wondering if it would be worth it (too bad it dosent do motion menues :( . So what do you think Id be better off doing? All I really do is rip from firewire w/ my MiniDV camcorder, and just convert movies online that come in either mpeg or avi. Thats it. I like options lol, but again, PowerDirector Pro 2.0 is sparse, and the templets backgrounds suck!!!! DVD Workshop is great, but I wont use it until a patch comes out too fix all the probs, and Sonic's DVDit PE, it has some awsome features but Im not too sure on it. Could I get some feedback from you guys that are usuing them too help better my decision? Cause if Powerdirector bombs out on the DVD building process again, Im going to..um... break something :)

Thanks all and sorry for the winded post......
