  1. Hello, I am a newbie and have been tasked to film and edit videos for the company I work for. I have the camera and equipment and have been using Premiere Pro to edit. However, my system isn't adequate. Are there any recommendations to what type of system I would need to get?

I don't intend on doing any heavy graphics. We are a B2B company in a very old industry. Just having videos is a new and insane thing.

Perhaps it would be more helpful to explain in more detail:

    Your current system
    Your current workflow
    Your budget
    Your feature needs
    Your quality expectations (examples?)

    +1

Also what type of videos are you editing? 4K & 8K takes a lot more processing power & RAM.

Is it the system in your profile? That may help the OP.

Buy as much processor and ram as you can afford, use the fastest SSD's you can afford, for GPU encoding, buy as much compatible video card you can afford. Get a good quality display, mouse and keyboard, you should be good to go.
It's not important the problem be solved, only that the blame for the mistake is assigned correctly
