How to play HDR videos properly? First at all madVR must enabled. Done. But image still is not like on not HDR vids. It is a bit darker, also maybe not correctly saturaded. Some setting in madVR should be enabled or changed? Player = MPC-HC. (Or maybe another renderer?)

I don't use madVR or MPC-HC for HDR videos but according to a post in an HDR thread that I participated in you need to set up HDR in madVR's display device settings. (See https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/394116-New-PC-pls-recommend-me-a-media-player-etc-...ck#post2558260.)

  3. The first basic question is whether you are using an HDR screen or not.
If you do, it's about getting passthru to work.
If not you need to tonemap HDR2SDR.

    My screen don't support hdr

I've read above thread and tested settings in madVR. If I understand well passthru is for systems where software don't support hdr (like Win7), but hardware support?

Passthu don't working. So I mapped with pixel shaders with clipping curve. It looking not bad, but it is not as should be "HDR2SDR" is what I already doing or it mean something different?

There is also option with lut, but I don't have any. Where to get some?
