I have only tried this once before taking a half hour home movie and converting it to SVCD using Premiere and the CCE plugin.
How would I go about doing this for VCD. I did trying a conversion last night by resizing the screen and setting the bitrate to 1150. I ended up with a 600mb mpg for about an hours worth of video. That sounds about right to me.
Can I just burn this file to CD and then put it in a VCD compatible DVD player. I tried to use Nero to burn a VCD and linked it to the Mpg but nero didn't like it.
The other thing I wasn't sure about was when I made my SVCD the screen was squeezed horizontally when played in WMP. However in WinDVD or other program iot works fine. I was told this was how it is supposed to be. The MPG file that I tried to convert does not have this squeezed appearance. Is that the nature of VCD?
