  1. 1. will a CL as low as CL14 give better results than CL20?

    2. is RAM Speed 3600MHz Compared to 4800MHz?

    3. does ECC memory help watch movies and sound better?

considering converting movies in the software to 4: 4: 4 or 12BIT?

I have never seen anything indicating that faster memory or ECC memory benefits the playback of a theatrical movie in any way. I have only seen some advice stating that more video memory is needed as video resolution and bit depth increase.

Yes. But not that you'll notice in real world applications.

In test designed specifically to memory speed there's a significant difference. In real world applications it's barely measurable.

No. In desktop computing, if your having memory problems your computer is going to crash very soon so performance will be of no concern.

In real world applications memory speed rarely makes more than a 1 percent difference between the slowest memory and the fastest. This is because the CPU's caches make DRAM access rather rare (compared to CPU cache access).

Spending money on faster memory is the least effective way to get better performance in real world applications. Spending the same amount of money on a faster CPU, GPU, of SSD (depending on what you do with your computer) will make a much bigger difference.

The only reason to have faster memory is for games after having a better cpu and video card.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

and what happens in 4K movies that convert them ONLINE to 4: 4: 4
    with 12 BIT?
