Hello,
I need to view two video files side by side, with an easy way to start/stop/rewind/fastforward.
Is there a free application that does this, ideally something as light and simple as VLC?
Thank you.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

Thanks, I'll try with ffmpeg or Avisynth., and VLC if all else fails.

Thanks much.
I'm not clear how those parts play together, though.
mpv, mpc-hc/be, vlc, and ffplay are players.
Avisynth stands between the file(s) and the player, so that the player doesn't know it's actually talking to a server and not reading files directly.
Does ffplay also need Avisynth, or can it play two files side-by-side on its own?Last edited by yetanotherlogin; 24th Jan 2021 at 13:00.
