So - what I wonder - what kind of benchmark is most important / what should I look for - when the goal is performance for encoding x265 videos.Benchmark and compare your system:
CPU Blowfish.
CPU CryptoHash.
CPU Fibonacci.
CPU N-Queens.
FPU FFT.
FPU Raytracing.

Encoding uses both integer and floating point units. You won't get answer based on those benchmark. Btw. That x265 fhd benchmark will run fine under WINE. If you are real Linux user then this shouldn't be a problem.

The only benchmark that is relevant to x265 encoding is x265 encoding. BTW, since you like Handbrake, then you will like this:
