Hi,
I have been searching the forum and faq's for answers to my questions. I was able to get some things figured out and others were only brushed over.
1. Anyway, I have a Sony Vaio and it has MS-XP as the operating system. I have used TMPGEnc to encode my files to an MPEG and edited them into 2 pieces. I am using NERO to burn the files to a CD. It seems to be successful, but when i try to play the CD and make sure that the file can be played back, it shows the DAT file. Windows Media Player does not recognize this. What do I need to do?
2. If I have a file in DIVx form, do I need to convert and encode the file to MPEG? If so, which one do I do? MPEG-1 or MPEG-2? Does the same go for AVI's?
3. Do most movies burned as a VCD take up 3 or more CD's?
I would appreciate any feedback. I know this has probably been discussed elsewhere, but I am not able to see the obvious due to my frustration.
Thanks in advance!
