**IF** those dash MP4 files are NOT "too many to count", you can download them all first and concatenate with ffmpeg later.
By the way, this is the reason why youtube-dl often calls ffmpeg,
for concatening the various MP4 or TS segments from the web sites,
by itself youtube-dl cannot download a single media file when that single media file doesn't exist to begin with.

Otherwise you'd better record the video and its audio with a screen capture software...
