  1. Whether I import a video or use the dynamic link the footage shift one frame back. The first frame is the second and the last frame is gone. Has anyone encountered this issue?

  2. That is often the result of interlaced footage being improperly interpreted. Right Click on your source and choose "interpret footage>main." Try different settings under Field and Pulldown see if anything works. Tip: if you place the footage into a comp before doing this, you will see the results immediately.

Upper or lower field both work. I don't know what they are but thanks! Couldn't find anything googling
The footage is progressive and It's 29,97 fps. Why does it happen and what do those fields and pulldowns mean and do?
