This might be really confusing but bear with me to the end(Contain piracy). Recently, I have downloaded Power Rangers Samurai Season 18 1080p AMZN Web-DL tag video files via torrent. I already had iTunes-rip from someone else so I decided to compare them and store which looks the best to me. Many of you may or may not know but iTunes usually crops a video (in which the pictures look zoomed in and we won't get true 1920x1080). So many people don't like iTunes-rip due to lower bitrate and damn cropping. By those facts why not go for AMZN rip which has higher bitrate and full 1080p pic? Here comes the problem. When I compare both rips side by side on the same episode, I noticed that AMZN has off color transfer which looks like Rec601 for FullHD picture. Below is the comparison -

Looks off right? But Mediainfo said BT.709 for both rips. Again I luckily got BDRip episode via friend (not whole series just an episode from German BluRay) and got a chance to compare the 3 sources. Take a look at them

From the screenshots, iTunes and BD has similar red so I assume AMZN has some problem.
The same group ETHiCS rip another season From Netflix and I compare that with iTunes.(p.s I do not have AMZN rip and BluRay is not released for this season). Here is some Screenshots -

Looks identical except iTunes is cropped and zoomed.
In nut shell, itunes = BluRay , itunes = Netflix [in terms of color matrx] meaning that 3 sources are identical leaving AMZN rip strange.
So, the question is which one has true BT.709 matrix? Does VLC do the AMZN rip to look like that? Is it due to error during muxing the vid? Is there anyway to restore true BT.709 for AMZN rip without filtering and re-encoding? or is iTunes wrong for all those episodes they have been doing? or mediainfo have shown us wrong? At this point, is it even worth to keep higher bitrate with higher size video rather than iTunes? Do you think AMZN matrix is right? Please let me know. I need some answers.
If you want to check the mediainfo, there you go. See for yourself.....
