I'm planning to switch to DGIndex after reading about MakeMKV files having problems with audio syncing properly? That said, I have a lot of DVD backups that were converted to .MKV files via MakeMKV. I don't have the original disc for many of these files. I'm curious how often a file made with MakeMKV has audio issues? I don't think I've ever personally encountered audio issues when using MakeMKV as an intermediate tool in my DVD conversions so I'm not sure what to look for. Can anyone here please elaborate on the audio sync issues caused by MakeMKV. Should I worry too much about not using DGIndex on previous conversions? Should I go back and re-encode DVDs where I've used MakeMKV before running it through AVISynth?
