HLS stream works only on webpage

Hi all,

after hours and hours of trials, I had to ask help from you guys.

I found a streaming that works only on the page itself (that is a free page) and after IDM-ing it, I am getting the following link

Link works only on the page itself but I can't make it work on VLC.

How can I make a valid stream m3u8 link?

However is not working with VLC.

As mentioned in my post, I manage to find the link, but it's not working with VLC.
Did it work for you?

Can you please clarify a bit more the User-Agent="XXXXXXXXXXXX"?

You can see the value of 'User Agent' in the network requests of the browser.

For example, to stream from youtube-dl to VLC:

youtube-dl --user-agent "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:83.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/83.0" "https://cdn11.stgledai.org/hlstvstream/viasat_history/index.m3u8?hash=zvSUcvB4Jcy0RLTFTdefXA&e=1607920194" -o - | "G:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" -

You'll need to change the path to VLC.EXE.
