Capturing old VHS video virtual dub and as I watch it play on the window in Vdub everything looks normal. The output avi file however is out of sync. Any one know why? The settings im using are the lagararithc lossless codec for compression, 29.97 frame rate color space UYVU outpize size 720x480. Not sure if its a Vdub setting or playback issuse with the vcr or capture card

Update - When using the Hauppage capture software the output file is in sync. it comes out as a .ts file. (im using the hauppage capture card)
my understand though is that capturing it direct to .ts like this results in quality loss vs doing it to the avi file that vdub produces and then encoding it after.
