Hi Folks,

I haven't posted to VideoHelp in years--I actually forgot how to join a Group or even how to Post a message to one, sorry. Call me a returning newbie.

Re: latest (12/2020) PC PotPlayer - How to copy/paste an MP4's BITC timecode, using an OCR plug-in or add-on product? I want to know if there is an "easy-enough" workflow, whereby I can "grab" or "monitor" the SMPTE or XX:XX:XX visible BITC overlay as seen in the corner of an MP4 playing back in PotPlayer-- and using some kind of OCR plug-in or add-on-- copy/paste that SMPTE or XX;XX;XX number AS Nurmeric TEXT (including colon or semi-colons) into a Word doc, or any other Word Processing app. (I thought this was all possible, but I cannot seem to find it nice and simple, online)

Also, since I am very new to PotPlayer, if there is a way to display a pro camera file's embedded SMPTE data on-screen in PotPlayer... which can also be subject to an OCR's copy/paste, as well? Or if there is a way to "grab" that SMPTE data electronically, please tell me how.

Thanks for ANY confident leads, suggestions. Happy holidays, be safe and sound, all-around...
