  1. Hey guys,
I recently bought a green screen to use in my YouTube live streams. However, I have such a lack of space and I cannot find a lighting setup that makes the green colour look even. I have two lamps available for use. If you guys could help me figure out where to place them, that would be great! Image

    Rethink your choice of space.

The whole use of greenscreen is predicated on the green being an even color, so easily subtractible.
An even color means even to cameras & computers, not our eyes. This means the screen needs to be evenly lit, which is often done with crossfiring side lights (or top & bottom).
AND one should not have the screen too close behind you, for 2 reasons - your own shadow changes the shading of the green color, and the green color does bounce back & bleed onto YOU, making your own image's edges get mucked up. Pro tools often have "spill suppression" to counteract this somewhat, but the best medicine is a rim light & distance.

  3. You will need to move if farther back and use lighting from the sides to prevent your shadow falling on the screen.

If your green screen is translucent try lighting it from behind. Or put it in front of a lighted window.

If the screen is too small to cover the full view of the camera you may need to add a manual mask for the areas outside the green screen.
