Mercalli Making Blank Files

Hi, I'm trying to stabilize 640x480 29.97fps M4S2 footage with Mercalli. It runs through the stabilisation routine OK, but the MP4 file it generates is just black with audio. If I try to open the file in VirtualDub, it hangs. Mercalli stabilises and exports other footage just fine, but even if I convert the M4S2 footage to something else (lagarith or

Export it to MP4 (H264) with HandBrake first, then it'll work.

Converting compressed (source) to compressed (Handbrake), and then compressing again (Mercalli), is almost always bad for quality.

True. I tried converting M4S2 to Lagarith but I had the same problem with Mercalli when using the lagarith version as the input file.

Mercalli doesn't like Lagarith.
But it does like Huffyuv.
