I found a little bug by accident. DVD2AVI can't warn you if there's not enough disk space to finish the conversion and would crash.

I had ripped many Robotech DVD onto drive F (one hard drive just for ripping and converting DVD) and since my brother's too cheap to buy the whole 14 DVD set, I was ripping them. But DVD2AVI was crashing without clear explaination. But when I checked the HD properties I only had a few K's left free (out of 80GB) so I deleted the extra VOB files that I'm already finished with. Now I can continue with DVD2AVI on the rest of the VOBs.

If anyone here knows the author of DVD2AVI, let him.her know of this little bug.

  2. I would hardly consider this a bug. After all, it's really not the programs fault that you didn't keep an eye on your disk space. As far as having this implemented, I wouldn't hold my breath as jackei does this as a hobby only. He hasn't touched this project (at least for public rls) in quite some time. But like I said, this is more of a user mistake/error than anything.

It's just my hobby and I will go on in my spare time."
