  1. Does anyone know what I need to do, to play a video from my MacBook on the TV (Philips)?
Do I need any specific circuit points?
    Thanks for any help!

  2. Welcome to the forum.

There may be an adapter to allow an HDMI cable to plug into the MacBook.

I think you could also screen mirror using an Apple TV device.

Sure someone a lot smarter than me will show up with a better idea.

MacBooks have been around for more than a decade. Connections for video and audio output vary by model. So, does your MacBook have Thunderbolt 3/USB C, Thunderbolt 2/Mini Display Port, Thunderbolt/Mini Display Port, or HDMI? You will need an appropriate adapter to connect any of the various Thunderbolt ports to HDMI on the TV. (I'll assume that the Philips TV has one or more HDMI connections.)
