Samsung dtb-p770v change HD.

I have one working and one with power problem. I tried to change HD and my recordings doesn't start. It only get black in the preview menu and the recorder freeze. Has the models different firmware?

i think you have to format the drive first in the working recorder before you'll be able
to record on to it. you might try connecting the HDD to your PC and see if you can get the recordings off
the HDD.

I can record with a hdd from another recorder in the same model. But i can't watch the previous recordings recorded in the other same model. Does some models have different firmware? I can't understand why the can't be played in the same working model.
