    This video below amplifies the voice (and it seems to slow it down a little bit) and made it like a large sound stage:

    this might work: Audacity + select part + Effects->Reverb and play with the settings
    users currently on my ignore list: deadrats, Stears555, marcorocchini

    As mentioned,

    Reverb - for the ambience/spaciousness
    (Slapback) Echo - to establish environment size
    Multiple-copied, slightly delayed stereo placement (or Chorus FX) - to establish voice size (useful to do "Voice from On High")
    Overall Volume & EQ - to establish the quality of a voice-over-amplification
