  1. Hi all, I've been having a challenge getting my video/audio is sync - any help is super appreciated.

On my previous Android phone, it would record videos out of sync with the audio so I would put it into the program Handbrake and convert from variable bitrate to constant bitrate and it would be perfectly in-sync. Great!

I now have a new Android phone and this isn't quite working. I'm not sure if it's my settings? I run it through Handbrake and the final result is still out of sync, it seems like certain parts of the video are almost slowed or sped up at certain points with the words not matching the lips of the person speaking.

I'm not sure what steps to take. Taking one of the videos as an example, if I run it in the program MediaInfo to see the details it says:
    Bit rate: 17.3 Mb/s
    Frame rate: Variable
    Frame rate: 19 FPS
    Min Frame rate: 0.744 FPS
    Max frame rate: 30.060 FPS

And other details I coud list.. So in Handbrake, I've tried putting it to constant frame rate of 20 (the closest to 19 there) with bitrate 17300. This wasn't great so great with frame rate 30. Encoder Preset is the default as I'm not sure what this does.

Any suggestions on how I can get these videos in sync with the audio properly?

Can you provide a short sample of the source?

Sure, here's some footage. This is footage which has run through Handbrake. https://youtu.be/EEXbXuyWyUA
Some footage seems fine then other parts go out like this.
These shots are frame rates 23, 25 and I believe 23 again. This is audio from the converted video.

    Thanks!

AS was mentioned earlier, provide a sample direct from the *source*
Youtube video is useless for diagnosing the problem
