I'm working on a Blu-ray release, and I need to upscale several movie trailers. Some are VHS sourced, some are DVD sourced. I need to prepare them for upscale via Topaz Video Enhance. Sadly there are no 35mm film materials or better quality masters available. They will also need to be 23.986 fps as they are going into a 23.976 timeline.
The first trailer I'm working on is on DVD-R, from PAL VHS (25fps), and has slight rainbowing and the usual VHS low resolution noise etc. Any suggestions as to how I should proceed? The first step I guess is getting it off the disc without losing any more quality.
Thanks in advance.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
