Have you tried shutting down your virus scan and any other programs that are working in the background prior to capturing? I know with my system, that is the problem 98% of the time.

Are they dropping right at the start of capture, or regularly thoughout? Right click on the "% frames dropped" and select the option to show total frames dropped - this will tell you if the drops are just a starting "cough" or a constant affliction.
Another question; what is your CPU utilization % when capturing? If this gets really close to 100%, drops are likely to occur. As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
