Remove first and last chapter of 100+ mkv files

Hi all,

Is there a relatively simple way to remove the first and last chapters of an mkv withour re-encode or remuxing the file?

If there isn't, is there a script someone could point me to that would achieve my desired result?

manually: mkvtoolnix GUI > chapterEditor.
uses mkvpropedit.exe to edit mkv in place (no remuxing required)

It may be possible to write a script (removing the first chapter should at least be a doable) ?
