I have some guitar web pages which are in html I have been told they are vimeo videos. but how can I save them as .mp4 as I cant get them to download as .mp4

  2. Vimeo transcodes online videos to .mp4 in different sizes and bitrates. If the original does not download in .mp4 it's because the original is not .mp4. Either download a suitable .mp4 version or transcode locally .

    What does it download as?

  4. Follow the vimeo link to the actual vimeo site (Usually by clicking the vimeo logo at the lower righthand side of the progress bar) see if there is a download button.

If not you can try one of many downloaders available on the software page here. https://www.videohelp.com/software. I am assuming you have the legal right to do this.
