    I don't know if this question was already asked, but I need help with my audio.

    I am curious as to what others use to extract the voice from a .mts file.

  2. Do you mean the audio stream of a mts file?
    You can use my clever FFmpeg-GUI to extract the audio stream. It is stored in an mkv container. You can then process this container as you like.
    Read the Howto.txt file before you start the program.

    I believe the op wants to just extract the voice portion,use audacity and adjust the effects till you get most of the voice,it might be tough since other sounds will be blended in the voice portion.
