If both youtube-dl and the browser extensions fail to work, you can just pluck the separate audio and video files (mp4) from dev-tools-network. They will be at the bottom of the list once you select 1080p.

You will have to mux the audio and video together after you download the separate files.

Like I said above, it will only play if the request is made from an ip address in mexico.

If you have a proxy or vpn, set it to mexico and the video will play.

  12. Update: I already download with youtube-dl, I managed to download with the following command:

    > youtube-dl --username email --password password -f best https://www.facebook.com/60265161373/videos/372252120461896/

the only problem is that it does not download in 1080p, does anyone know what command I should include to download in 1080p?

Try using -F to get a list of available formats and then use the format id to choose the one you want, ie: -f 135.

You can also try -f "[height=1080]"

Do you get anything back when using -F ?

Also, sometimes I have to use -f "[Height>1079]"

  18. UPDATE: Hello, I come here again to ask for your help, until a few days ago I downloaded the facebook videos without problems with the command they gave me:

    > youtube-dl -f "bestvideo[height = 1080]+bestaudio" "https://www.facebook.com/60265161373/videos/1185449725174914" --username example@example.com --password password123

However, suddenly it stopped working and youtube-dl no longer downloads me when I put it on, TVDownloader does not work for me, I would like to know if anyone knows why this happens? I never imagined downloading from there was such a problem. If anyone could help me again find a command or some way to download from facebook in 1080p I would really appreciate it.

I have updated youtube-dl and the geolocation of the video is not a problem either, I don't understand what happened ... what do you recommend? Attached a link of the videos that I want to download:

    https://www.facebook.com/60265161373/videos/1185449725174914

    Please, help me again...
