    Hi,

I am newbie in subtitling. I use for the first time Subtitle Edit (latest version).

My parameters. Time Code: 00:00:00, Frame : 25, Encoding: 1252 Western Europe (Windows 10 pro).

I cannot see in the right panel my video anymore while I am making subtitles .

It had been worked fine while i was subtitling 2 days long but today I started SE and I cannot see the video.

I see the subtitles and hear the voice but I don't see the video.

All is perfect synchronized: voice and subtitles but no picture.

    How to fix this issue?

    Kind regards

    MD

Try switching video player, go to Options - Settings - Video player, click on the button "Download mpv lib".

Then the mpv lib should be downloaded via a new window - a progress label should go to 100%, and then SE will be ready to use mpv as video player instead of DirectShow, and hopefully the video will be visible.
