  1. Hallo zusammen!
Ich bin neu hier und bräuchte eure Hilfe um einen guten VideoMaker zu finden.
Ich habe kein Apple Gerät und somit leider auch kein installiertes Programm. Nun suche ich Online nach einem verfügbaren Programm (wenn möglich ohne Kosten)

    Danke im Voraus!

  2. Gosh, it's been over fifty years since I studied German in high school and I could still understand that. That makes my day.

Unfortunately I have no idea what a "VideoMaker" might be and when I cheated and used Google Translate, it translated exactly what I was pretty sure I had just read, but gave me no better word.

Perhaps the OP wants a recommendation for a free NLE?

  3. Indeed...
@Lauko1998: Was für ein Apple Gerät? Die meisten Macs und co haben iMovie vorinstalliert. Man kann es auf jeden Fall installieren. Kostet nischts und ist sehr sehr gut.

He's simply looking for "a good video maker" as far as I can tell. I don't believe he is actually looking far a program called "VideoMaker".

Yes, I understood that. I was just trying to figure out if "video maker" was a term for a non-linear editor (NLE) or whether he wanted to hire someone (i.e., a person who makes videos), or whether he wanted something where he could feed it some video and it would automatically produce something with cuts and effects and music underneath like Sony's Playmemories and dozens of other programs do.

I could go on with other guesses, but the point is that I found his word to be insufficiently descriptive.

  6. Don't get me started on the English words Germans and German-speakers misuse and are shocked when native speakers and those claiming to be such simply can't comprehend.
    Handy
    Mobbing
    Outing
    Cutter
Sorry (most the overuse of it...)
    Check (Germanized into ge-checkt)...
    etc etc
    etc
I answered his question though so if he comes back we can hopefully figure out what he is looking for...
