Ok, let me apologize in advance if this is not the proper site to post in, but I have learned useful info so far, so I said, "f it, I'll give it a shot." So, here goes:

You know how people trade vcds, right? Well, I know that alot of it is done through the mail, but how do they do it over the net. Is this file "sharing"? How would I go about taking a vcd and saving it on my computer and sending it to someone in timbuktu? Is this about conversion? Hey, it may seem incredibly simple to you pros, but I am posting in this forum because its called "NEwbie"!

Obviously, I am a baby. But, I am learning...and I would appreciate any contributions you may have to an "eager young mind."

Well, i can't allow you to do the following on the forums, but if you want to share files on your PC with others, you have many ways to do so, such as:

WinMX
BearShare
KaZaA

And there are plenty of others
You can also open up an FTP Server on your PC and allow that certain someone to connect, this way you have much more control, and you'll know no one is hacking your PC using one of the file sharing programs.
