  1. When i start up vcdeasy error pops up saying no cdrw drive found/aspi problems.I have a 24x tdk,if that helps.
    I updated my aspi drivers,rebooted and still no luck.
    Any1 know a fix to this...?

  2. Which ASPI are you using ? if it's 4.7 that would explain your problems, get only ASPI v4.6 Build 1021, and then go to the Settings in VCDEasy and enable CDRDao.

  6. I have a sony 8X CDRW drive and it's not being recognized either...I downloaded the ASPI v4.6 Build 1021 drivers and am running Windows XP.

    I'm also using VCDeasy v. 1.9

    Is there something I am doing wrong?

    (I noticed that ASPI said yes with the newer ASPI drivers)

  9. Sounds like you got VCDEasy without any of the internal components, so you need to basicly download the complete VCDEasy package, or go to the settings in VCDEasy and make sure each program leads to the correct path.

    As for the ASPI Driver, i'd recommand you re-install it, I know the v4.6 work on all OS's as i've tried it myself, the 4.7 causes problems, even if will be detected, you'll end up losing alot of media due to bad recordings.

  10. Right on, I downloaded the full package, and it allowed me to select my burner...but aspi still says no...I suppose I will try it anyway.

    and then go to the Latest Download section, see if that works.
