Hey Everyone I am new to the forum. I see alot of people asking how to fit a dvd rip onto 1 disk. If this isn't for you than thats fine, but everyone I know cannot tell this is not a real dvd. First off forget tmpeg or whatever because it sucks.Go get yourself CCE ver 2.50 and the current dvdtosvcd.Next rip your movie with smartripper. Load up the first info file in dvdtosvcd. Go to bitrate and set the max to 2600.change all the cdinfo to 1disk and 810megs max file size. Also check to edit the video info file after dvdtoavi finishes. set the min and max ave to 1000 for 96 min is what I use. If u need a little more or less use the bitrate calc on this site. set audio to either 112 or 128 depending on how long your movie is. also use 10 pass vbr. When dvdtoavi is done set the first 480 you see to a 352. Thats it after about 8-12 hours on my dual P3 1000 with 1500megs of ram. perfect one disk rip
