  1. I have a few vids with a Full sub track and want to enable them by default in mpc or lav, but so far no luck, I tried jpn:eng@Full but just reverted to first track.Click image for larger version

  2. I don't use this feature (subtitles by order of preference in mpc video player) but I imagine you should be able to set the default in mkvtoolnix and then remux the mkv.

    The track does not seem to have any defined language (no "[eng]" shown), i.e. it cannot match "jpn:eng@Full". So either edit the info as suggested by butterw, or try "jpn:und@Full" or "jpn:*@Full" instead.

    Thanks it worked, but had to disable the other subs in toolnix
