While looking for solutions to finally capture video on my PC again, I stumbled across this video https://youtu.be/ZC5Zr3NC2PY
What are your thoughts on upscaling (S)VHS with an HDMI-device and then capturing it with a HDMI-capture device?
Even though I'm not too excited about the upscaling and/or quality loss/gain (depending on how you see it), it seems a rather hassle free method, compared to the USB-grabber "drama" some people (me included) are having on their Windows 10-PCs.![]()

This capture method from YouTUbe was already discussed at length last year: https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/393700-S-Video-to-HDMI-scaler

Thanks. Somehow that exact thread escaped my search.
