  1. I'm getting an unaligned crop error when my script is finished. So far the only thing I have found that stop it is, either moving all filters before cropping, or adding align=true to the crop in the script. I usually do not get this error.

What exactly does adding align=true into crop, change in my outputted video results? I have never used it before and have only just now heard of it or tried to use it.

I read what little information there is on it in the documentation, but I am not fully understanding it.

  2. It aligns the data in memory so it filters faster (though it will use a little more memory).

  3. So it changes absolutely nothing, and the output will be the same exact thing regardless? It just causes more memory use to align data?

Aligning the data uses more memory but makes the processing faster. The end result is the same.
