Thank you; this is exactly the ZIP I earlier downloaded and unzipped.
I installed the program, but AFTER installation there is NO executable (".exe") except for the UNINSTALL.
Even in the Windows "Start" screen, there is the AmarecTV button and thereunder an Uninstall button, but no button to open the program.
Exactly what I found earlier.

It's portable - there is no install. You extract the files and run amarectv.exe

There is IIRC a setting in vdub to drop video frames to keep audio in sync.


But often sync issues are down to your PC not being able to keep up >> bad choice of video compression (which you must set BEFORE capturing else it will default to uncompressed and many systems could have issues with that)

I use Vdub for cropping and packing to HuffYUV, not so much for capturing.

I have used the genuine EzCAP116,version 3-2A,bought from---szforwardvideo.com---since XP days and now on Win 10 also.
Works flawlessly.
Beware of pirates.
