There is IIRC a setting in vdub to drop video frames to keep audio in sync.
But often sync issues are down to your PC not being able to keep up >> bad choice of video compression (which you must set BEFORE capturing else it will default to uncompressed and many systems could have issues with that) -
Some people swear by Virtualdub capture and others never get it to work - that's about the size of it

I have used the genuine EzCAP116,version 3-2A,bought from---szforwardvideo.com---since XP days and now on Win 10 also.
Works flawlessly.
Beware of pirates.
