I have a DVD that has 2 movies on it and I ripped it to my hard drive and now I would like to burn it to a Bluray disk so I don't have to shrink the DVD backup.

you have to convert the files to bluray format - https://www.howtogeek.com/310705/how-to-burn-any-video-file-to-a-playable-blu-ray-disc/

I got an idea from an old VideoHelp post but have not tried it myself to see if it works. (Old thread: https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/393209-Authoring-DVD-files-to-Blu-Ray-disc)
Combine the two DVDs into one with DVDShrink without shrinking, ignoring "disc size" limitation warnings, if any. (See https://itstillworks.com/combine-two-dvd-movies-one-dvd-shrink-1443.html)
Create an ISO from the combo DVD and then burn that ISO to Blu-ray using ImgBurn. This creates a bastard disc, which Cornucopia called a "SuperDVD". Some hardware Blu-ray players may play it but there is a definite possibility that it would be rejected.Ignore list: hello_hello, tried, TechLord, Snoopy329 -
Thanks johns0, I don't have the Disc anymore gave it back to my cousin so can't rip it with makemkv unless you can still rip it to mkv when it's already on my hard drive,
usually_quiet, it isn't 2 DVDS it is just 2 movies that are on 1 DVD as it came that way and it is a bought disc. -
Why not just burn to dual-layer DVD-R? No shrinking there, nor conversion.
