Yep...it's a mono 1/8 double plug but there's also a little hole on the end. Came across this...wondering what it is...what it's used for

The fixed width looks like it would plug into the rear audio outlets...It would need a micro stereo plug I guess

It's a converter from dual mono to stereo jack. These are commonly used on aircraft seat entertainment systems that have the headphone jacks on the seat arm rest. They allow you to use your own headphones.

I dont think it's a mate for it since if you plug in the dual pins in it will be another bridge that's not needed,plug a 3.5 male end into the op's plug and connect the pins.

The image that "johnmeyer" posted is a headphone splitter, allowing you to run two headphones from the same socket.
