Hi Folks,
I hope someone can help me out. I have a DVHRS02 - dvd and vhs player which i have used up until march to convert VHS to DVD. When i went back to convert some more today i am getting "NO SIGNAL - there is no live picture at the input. Please check connection" message. When i play the vhs, i get picture on the screen, but when i try to copy it, i get the no live picture message. I have tried to copy a tape that i successfully copied, and i'm getting the same. The set up hasn't changed, same scart lead, same monitor, same dvd's that worked the last time. Has anyone come across this and did you solve it?

I'll just ask the obvious.
Are you trying to 'record' from the dvd-recorder or, as most combos do (mine included), have a dubbing button on the remote that does the copying automatically ? -
I thought you had 'solved' your issue as you reported by in reply #3
But sorry. Your 'solution' is nonsense. A recorder would hardly give the message you reported if you had the wrong media in the drive. And all recorders should accept both RW and R disks. But a RW disk would typically require initial formatting.
