i have win 7 x64 and XMediaRecode 3496 (x64 portable) and work fine.
yesterday i have update to latest 3510 version (x64 portable) but on first run app crash!
this is the report of issue. why this behavior?

the latest version doesn't open here on w8.1 either. tried both installer and portable versions but no joy. went back to the previous version and it works fine.

very strange behavior.
i have also send email at developper but him not reply...
but yet on xmediarecode home page win 7, win 8, win 8.1 are supported.... i don't know.... -
also installer and also 32bit version crash...
edit: try now 3501 (x64 portable) work fine!
problem is only with latest version 3510....
