Potplayer & HDTV

Hi All,

this is my first post. I am happy to be here.

Recently I installed Pot player on my HTPC and I tried to watch Digital TV.

I run the automatic scan, I found some TV channels, but when I try to select one of them the video remains black.

I can record the channel, with the black screen, and I can select and see it, after the recorded file is created.

I would like to watch TV in real time, and not recording it before .
Can someone help me?

Change the Video Renderer. From Preferences select Video in the left Pane. Try the different Video Renderers in the Right pane. You probably have to exit PotPlayer and restart it for the change to take effect.

I have already tried couple of them, Dark, Now I go to test all of them, with exit and rerun. Thanks

No Way always, Dark.
Everytime I close potplayer at restarting I have to select open, then open Digital TV, then 3 dark windows opened, I close them then I have to select manage channel, select 1 channel that is still DARK.

There is some guide to set potplayer at first time as tv Player?

Try different decoders for the video codec used by your provider (h.264? MPEG2?).

I am close to the solution.

Do you know where can I find a List of Italian TV channel? Can I have a mix of Terrestrial and Satellite channels on the same list?
