  1. I'm converting English SRT subtitles downloaded from a streaming site to Bluray .sup format. Do I need to change the encoding format such as to UTF-8 for example or do I not need to bother?

    I like SubtitleEdit better. IIRC easySup suffers from a 24fps bug and IMO SubtitleEdit makes a better picture.

    After creating SUP for 24fps, subtitles display go out of sync. IIRC it will act as 23.976fps SUP.
    There is a remedy to it by importing it into BDSup2Sub, set both in- and output framerate to 24 fps and export again. Then you're good to go.
