[Sony Vegas] "An error ocurred while starting playback." error

At what seems to be randomly, I get this error message when I click play. To "fix" it I change the audio device to something else (Microsoft Sound Mapper/Direct Sound Surround Manager/Realtek ASIO). I rotate between these 3, not sure what the difference is, they all work. I just select another so I dont get this annoying window, but eventually it happens again, so I have to constantly change this. How can I fix it? I didn't get this when I was working with Windows 7. Im using Sony Vegas 13 btw.

Why don't you ask this question in the Magix forum?? While there are people like me who do use Vegas, only a few people here do. By contrast EVERYONE in the Magix forum uses it. That's what that forum is for.
