Xvid --> Mpeg(VCD)

I am having troubles converting some XVID files to Mpeg!
First, I could not get any video in WMP while playing the avi. I downloaded the codec and can now view them in WMP. I tried to use TMPGEnc to convert to VCD, the conversion seemed to work but when I tried to play the Mpeg in WMP it freaks out. Do i need any additonal codec to convert XVID's. NIMO?

I cannot convert the xvid file to mpeg using tmpgenc. Looks like xvid is just a not-supported codec, we'll have to wait until it is supported.
