  2. davinci resolve fusion page could do this, but you would need a good deal of experience to knock it out by next wednesday, you tube tutorials will assist.... (motion graphics)
The free version is fully working and able to do this, you would need a computer with some horsepower to do it, minimum i7 and 16gb memory, or forget it

Hm, this just seems like something you can do in any professional editing software with some elbow grease. Adobe Premiere / After Effects / Davinci Resolve / Final Cut / Avid, all should work.
It's a lot of copy pasting, nesting sequences and doing all that over again.

Where do you need it for?

I want to use it in my personal video. It looks funny to make one.
I have downloaded DaVinci Resolve, but I can't find the option to multiply the video. Do you know where this option is?

I've looked around somewhat, but I can't find if there is a standard effect in Resolve. In Premiere it is called 'replicate'. But this effect 'overwrites' the source clip with the effect (x times replication). You won't be able to adjust the seperate cells, like in that video you send, where the cells turn on and off.

Adjusting the seperate cells is done by a lot of handwork. Like i said: elbow grease work.

You first make a sequence (timeline) with 2x2 clips, animating it however you want. Then you create a new timeline with an embed of the previous timeline, and you copy paste that 4 times. And you also animate that however you want. And so on and so forth. Eventually patterns are going to emerge, but that also is the case in the video you send.
