    Hello,

While trying to find a way to download HLS/DASH/Smooth streamed videos, I tried a few Google Chrome extensions.

At this point, I removed them all, but it seems like there's one that's still lurking.

Can you tell which extension it is, and how to remove it?

    Thank you.

Removing it just from toolbar might not remove it completely, double check if it's still in here (paste in chrome's address bar)

Thanks. I actually used the procedure to remove it, it's not listed in the Extensions section… although it's obviously still there somewhere.

Are you sure it's Stream Detector? It says it's only available for Firefox.

  5. the windows that you have posted at #1 is window of stream detector, and this extension it's available only for firefox.
if you use chrome it's not possibile is stream detector.
anyway follow suggestion of Sviests at post#3 and see wich extension you have installed on chrome. then remove it.
or also go ....Roaming\Chrome\Data\Default\Extensions and remove the folder of the extension that you don't want

I know what happened: I had Firefox in the background but was reading stuff through Chrome in the foreground, so when that dialog popped up, I thought it was Chrome.

With adware, it's not uncommon to have bits left behind.

    Sorry!
