Hi,
Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the belts for a Sony EVO-9850 Hi-8 deck?
Or direct me to where I can find them?
Where can I buy such belts of good quality at a reasonable price?
many thanks,
Pat

PRB Belts is where I used to get all my belts when I repaired VCRs, tape players etc. Here's a link:

You can purchase a measuring tool from them so you can measure both the thickness and diameter of your belts. Some belts are round; some are square; and some are flat. You need to determine that before you measure and order. Always order something a little smaller in diameter/length than your old belts because old belts have typically lost their elasticity and have therefore stretched.
You can try Googling your model and include in the search "service manual" OR "repair manual" and you might find an actual service manual which will include the belt specs.
